The Dubai Road and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that the Dubai tram will resume on May 13.

The RTA has announced in its Twitter account that Dubai’s tram and maritime services will resume operations on Wednesday, May 13th. Proactive and preventive health measures, including social distance, especially on board public transport and in train stations, will continue to be enforced.

The RTA resumed operation of the Dubai Metro on April 26 and started operating the paid parking system on the same day. the Dubai Tram runs from Saturday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

“If you want to get on the tram, go to the train station 30 minutes beforehand and don’t forget to wear a face mask. It’s mandatory,” says the RTA.

In addition, shipping across Dubai is resuming operations following health and safety precautions. However, traffic in the Dubai Water Canal and ferry service between Al Ghubaiba Station and Sharjah Aquarium Station as well as leisure maritime traffic will be discontinued.
