YouTube has been accused of violating the Children’s Privacy Law. Due to this, Google will have to pay 1420 crores as settlement amount. On Saturday, US media reported that YouTube had violated this while collecting data for the advertisement.

According to the New York Times, the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has agreed to the settlement amount for YouTube’s parent company Google. If this is approved by the Department of Justice, then this will be the largest settlement case related to the Children’s Privacy Violation.

According to the report, some privacy groups accused YouTube of violating the Children’s Privacy Law. He said that YouTube collected data related to children under the age of 13 without the permission of their parents. The FTC is expected to hear its decision in September.

American regulators have long alleged that Google has failed to protect children from harmful content and protect their data on its YouTube platform. In another case, 23 job search sites have written to the European Commission against Google.

In this complaint, the commission has demanded to check Google’s widget for users who want to get jobs. A widget is a program with self-code that is usually a shortcut to a large application. However, nothing has been disclosed yet regarding the settlement amount of this case.
